From the depths of memory affected by Alzheimer's, Hans Broos tells the story of a Carpathian German refugee who became a prominent Brazilian architect. Hans Broos left behind high-quality buildings and a long line of followers—young architects inspired by his work, his innovative approach to modern architecture and urbanism, and above all, his humanistic message.
HANS BROOS (1921-2011) Born in Veľká Lomnica, he became a significant representative of Brutalism in Brazil.
He created architecture as concrete poetry, masterfully connected to nature. He was the author of 140 works and 450 cataloged projects.
